Chapter 11: Clients

I sat in Ronnie's recliner and waited for him to return home from work as I cooked muffins from scratch with the summer blueberries I hand-picked.

Doing chores before sunrise to warm up cold critters. This is when I found the lost hen around the corner of the chicken coop.

Lugging a five-gallon bucket of water out to the pigs was a lot of work in winter weather conditions.

Waiting for the sun.

This photo was taken from the living room window of the icy corner I had to make around with my water and feed for the livestock.

The small blanket of snow and ice made the countryside quiet and serene for a few moments. The world sparkled like diamonds.
